David Purse grew up, and continues to live, in a small town just outside Glasgow, Scotland. After failing to receive his invitation to Hogwarts (obviously a mix up with the post) and with no apparent mutant powers on the way, he decided to write his own adventures.

The aspiring author is currently working away on his latest project, a young adult thriller set in a mental hospital. Due to the need of a back-up plan, he attended Strathclyde University where he recently gained a Bachelor’s (Hons) degree in Human Resource Management. He hopes to accomplish his dream of writing for a living as the continued talk of a ‘real’ job somewhat scares him.
